Description
Wisteria sinensis, commonly known as the Chinese wisteria, is a species of flowering plant in the pea family, native to China, in the provinces of Guangxi, Guizhou, Hebei, Henan, Hubei, Shaanxi, and Yunnan. Growing 20–30 m tall, it is a deciduous vine.
Wisteria oil is excellent for use in aromatherapy diffusers; formulating cosmetics; refreshing potpourri; massage oils; bath oil and, as a perfume body oil. Wisteria oil has an intoxicatingly sweet fragrance that will fill the room. Some say the scent is a combination of honeysuckle and lilac.
