Description

Pink Lotus flowers are often associated with Buddhism as these charming blooms are said to portray Buddha’s earthly symbol. The Pink Lotus is considered to be the true lotus of Buddha. They can hold various meanings, depending on the state of their buds. A pink lotus plant with a close bud represents passing through the spiritual path, while a fully bloomed one can represent the Buddha himself and means enlightenment or perfection.

Pink Lotus Attar is made by steam distilling the flowers of the Pink Lotus (Nelumbo nucifera), into a base of Sandalwood oil.

The Pink Lotus flower is often referred to as the most heavenly scented of all the Lotus flowers. Rare and exotic, Pink Lotus is prized for its delectable scent and features heavily in expensive perfumes. It has an exceptionally rich, honeyed, dense floral aroma that is earthy and creamy sweet.

The sweet scent of the attar is so calming, it can help to take the mind to a place of devotion, clarity, and stillness. An excellent oil for balancing and clearing the mind in preparation for meditation.

Pink Lotus Attar can be worn as a sacred perfume and also makes a wonderful anointing oil.

Pink Lotus Attar is a Cool Attar and is often worn in summer as it is said to have a cooling effect on the body.

The recommended way to experience the fragrance of attar is to apply it to the inside of each wrist and dab a little behind each earlobe with the inside of your wrists before it dries. The attar will dry down in a few minutes after which you will experience its charming scent.

Consider applying Blue Lotus Attar to the pulse points or crown of the head before meditating.

For thousands of years, ittars were considered in some societies to be something that attracted angels and warded off evil spirits. Saints and spiritual aspirants would adorn themselves with these scents to assist them in their journey towards enlightenment. The different sects of Hinduism worship deities through household and temple offerings. Ittars are commonly used within the incense and food used as offerings.
