Description

This extract has a confirmed 30% Polysaccharides. This is one of the main active ingredients in Lion’s Mane.These herbal extracts are ideal for adding to herbal teas, or other beverages, and can also be added to foods. When calculating the required amount, consider how much of the normal herb you would use, and divide that by at least 10 as these extracts are concentrated. The Lion’s Mane extract is safe to consume. The recommended dose is 500mg up to 3 times a day. It would not be recommended to exceed 3000 mg per day.Hericium erinaceus (also called lion’s mane mushroom, mountain-priest mushroom, bearded tooth fungus, and bearded hedgehog) is an edible mushroom belonging to the tooth fungus group. Native to North America, Europe, and Asia, it can be identified by its long spines (longer than 1 centimetre or 12 inch), occurrence on hardwoods, and tendency to grow a single clump of dangling spines. The fruit bodies can be harvested for culinary use.

H. erinaceus produces edible fruiting bodies that have uses as food and in traditional medicine.

Lion’s mane mushroom and its extract have been shown to have various health benefits. Research has found that lion’s mane may protect against dementia, reduce mild symptoms of anxiety and depression, and help repair nerve damage.
Lion’s mane may help digestive health by fighting inflammation, which could be beneficial for people with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).
