Gum Arabic, also known as gum sudani, acacia gum, Arabic gum, gum acacia, acacia, Senegal gum, Indian gum, and by other names, is a natural gum consisting of the hardened sap of two species of the acacia (sensu lato) tree, Acacia senegal (now known as Senegalia senegal) and Vachellia (Acacia) seyal.
Our latest batch of Gum Arabic is a beautiful raw gum harvested from Acacia Senegal trees. Being a raw product it may have some natural impurities like small pieces of bark. There is nothing in it that can be harmful to you, but if you are going to ingest it, we recommend rinsing it with some water first.
