Dong quai is anti-inflammatory, antiviral, anti-fungal, anti-rheumatic and antispasmodic. A blood and digestive tonic, circulatory stimulant, hormone stabiliser, mild laxative and expectorant. Native to China and used widely in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Common medicinal uses include: for stomach and digestive issues, to treat headaches and migraines, to fight viruses, bacteria and fungal infections, for heart health and circulation, to enhance concentration and memory, to detoxify the liver and stablise hormones.
